small steps to save the planet
- buy fair trade
- buy from local farms
- buy locally produced items
- buy only things you really need
- buy organic
- combine errands into one trip
- cook a big meal and share with a neighbor. Take turns doing this.
- don't idle your car
- refuse plastic bags everywhere
- turn down the temp on your water heater
- turn down your thermostat; wear an extra sweater and wool socks!
- use cloth grocery bags
- use cloth napkins
- use vegetable based detergents
- walk, bike, use public transportation

There is nothing in the world like a newly-picked local strawberry. Nothing. Yum.
They look good enough to eat! Crafty Girl has an artist's eye! I think we have an idea of where that comes from!
