Farmer's Market

Every Wednesday, my boss Lori and I go to a weekday farmer's market in Troy and set up the booth with our goodies.

There is live entertainment. Every week a different artist or artists show up. These two were some excellent jazz guitarists.

Right next to us is the most colorful, beautiful booth. Last week, we finally had good weather, and I brought my camera.

Here are some pictures for you to enjoy.

EDITED TO ADD: the market runs from 10 am to 2 pm every Wednesday until sometime in October, at Monument Square in Troy, NY. It is near the Center for the Arts and City Hall.

We will NOT be in attendance this Wednesday, July 22nd. We'll be back next week!

I love The Berry Patch! They have early season memberships- pay a set amount and get a card for that amount plus 10%. Not quite a CSA, but it does allow me to purchase prime quality produce and fruit of my choice, instead of taking what's available and what I might not use. They have wonderful greenhouse grown tomatoes that have been out for a few weeks now. One huge heirloom, chopped and coated with warm olive oil in which chives have been wilted makes a terrific dinner over spelt pasta. Mmm-mmm-mmm!

Are you going to dye up some Zinnia yarn? I would love some - would use Kristin Nicholas' directions for embroidering with them. And couldn't you just see a bunch of crocheted flowers in those colors?

Did you do anything for the Ravelry Dye for Glory? What category?
