Lately it has driven me slightly nuts to have unfinished projects lying around. (Don't tell my mother. She decided when I was a teenager, and hopping from one project to the next, that I am unable to finish anything.)
Some of you may remember the color...
...or the name of the yarn...
...or the name of the project...
....or which book it's in...
"Rhinebeck Cardigan" from a fine fleece by Lisa Lloyd.
colorway Merlot Heather
needles: 7 and 4 (which is a change from the pattern; she used all 7 all the time) /4.5 and 3.5 mm 3 buttons instead of 6.
Even Crafty Girl, who's almost 12, says this cardi looks "very cute" on me. With the top button open.

Beautiful sweater and perfect buttons! I may have to get that book.
Nice color! I like the slightly princess line to the shaping too.
The sweater looks great. Can't wait to see you wearing it! I plan to start this sweater soon - with the yarn I didn't use for the spring forward knit along - since it is wool worsted. Plymouth Galway. It is green. Could I possibly have it done for St Pat's Day?? Ha! I should dream on!
love it! I have the book, and I'm going to get it out and look thru it again - I've seen so many nice finished sweaters from it!
Very Nice:-) Love it, A +++++
Not only do I remember the book, the pattern and the yarn...I clearly remember shopping for the yarn when the Harlot was visiting at WEBS. You are a better woman than I am, however, as I have not started the sweater that I was buying yarn for that day (with a pattern also from that wonderful book!).
The sweater looks very nice, lovely color!
Hope you are staying warm in the snow storms we keep seeing on the news. We have unseasonably warm weather in California, wish we can send some heat to the rest of the country.
Karin this is stunning! I love it!
Now that is gorgeous! I have never tried an adult sweater yet...just baby sweaters... Hmmmm....
A really pretty cardigan!
Made me take another look at it in the book... yours looks so much more appealing.
