small steps to save the planet
- buy fair trade
- buy from local farms
- buy locally produced items
- buy only things you really need
- buy organic
- combine errands into one trip
- cook a big meal and share with a neighbor. Take turns doing this.
- don't idle your car
- refuse plastic bags everywhere
- turn down the temp on your water heater
- turn down your thermostat; wear an extra sweater and wool socks!
- use cloth grocery bags
- use cloth napkins
- use vegetable based detergents
- walk, bike, use public transportation

Seeing the pictures makes me sad about missing the retreat. Was it great? Who was there? And, a happy,happy belated birthday. Cathy
very pretty, and it looks like a nice place to retreat from the worries of the world.
Oh my Goodness Karin...With all that beauty on the outside of the Lodge, i hope everyone was able to focus on the inside of the Lodge!
I can't wait to hear all about the weekend!
